Job Description
This full-time position, facilitated by Talent Grid Africa for their client in Narumoro, involves overseeing the commercial and operational success of a farm. The role requires comprehensive management of farm activities, from financial oversight and budgeting to crop production and team leadership, while ensuring sustainable practices and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the farm's profit and loss (P&L) through strong yields, effective cost control, and diligent budgeting.
- Oversee the entire planting program, from initial land preparation to post-harvest handling.
- Lead the production team and facilitate the introduction of new crop varieties.
- Promote and implement sustainable farming practices, ensuring the farm maintains its certifications and is prepared for audits.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field.
- Possess relevant experience in farm management.
