Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of hospital vehicles, including ambulances, to facilitate patient transfers and other transport needs. This role involves conducting routine vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate vehicle records, and performing additional duties as assigned by the hospital management.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate hospital vehicles and ambulances.
- Support patient transfers efficiently and securely.
- Conduct routine checks and inspections on all assigned vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records related to vehicle usage and maintenance.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Hospital.
Requirements
- Valid Class BCE Driving Licence and PSV licence.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience.
- Proven experience in ambulance driving.
- Clean driving record and a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and be available for on-call duties.
- First Aid/BLS and defensive-driving training (an added advantage).
