Teacher of English - Primary School

This role involves planning and delivering engaging English lessons that align with the school's curriculum. The teacher will be responsible for assessing learners' progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting students with diverse abilities and learning needs. Key duties include maintaining lesson plans, assessment records, and progress reports, as well as promoting positive classroom behavior and a safe learning environment. The successful candidate will also participate in school activities and communicate effectively with parents regarding learner progress.

1. Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
2. Assess learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
3. Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.
4. Maintain lesson plans, assessment records, and progress reports.
5. Promote positive classroom behavior and a safe learning environment.
6. Participate in school activities and communicate with parents on learners’ progress.

1. Possess a recognized teaching qualification relevant to primary education.
2. Have at least three years’ experience teaching English in a primary school.
3. Be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
4. Demonstrate strong spoken and written English skills.
5. Exhibit effective classroom management and communication abilities.
6. Show commitment to learner welfare and child safeguarding.
