Graphic and Motion Designer

Proto Energy Limited, founded in 2015, operates in the Energy & Utilities sector. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, the company focuses on providing energy solutions.

The Graphic and Motion Designer is responsible for developing compelling visual content to support Proto Energy's marketing initiatives, enhance brand identity, and engage customers. This includes designing a variety of digital and print assets while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and campaign goals. The role requires close collaboration with the Marketing Project Lead and other team members to translate campaign objectives into effective visuals.

1. Develop creative concepts and layouts for various marketing campaigns, including posters, flyers, social media content, packaging, and merchandise.
2. Collaborate closely with the Marketing Project Lead and other team members to execute design briefs effectively.
3. Translate campaign objectives into compelling visual content that resonates with the target audience.
4. Prepare final artwork for both print and digital production and distribution.
5. Maintain and regularly update the company’s visual asset library.
6. Ensure all designs consistently adhere to the brand’s visual identity and tone.
7. Stay informed about current industry trends and new design tools and technologies.
8. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

1. Hold a Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related academic field.
2. Possess a minimum of two years of experience in a similar design role, preferably within a fast-paced work environment.
3. Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
4. Exhibit strong knowledge of branding principles, typography, layout design, and general design principles.
