Backend Software Developer

The Backend Software Developer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of modern ERP, POS, and business management systems, including development, maintenance, security, and optimization. This role involves working with large, database-driven systems, understanding and managing existing codebases, troubleshooting complex problems, developing new modules, integrating external services, and building secure, scalable software solutions.

1. Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in backend software development.
3. Strong knowledge of PHP 8+.
4. Strong experience with Laravel Framework.
5. Proficiency in MySQL / MariaDB database development, including design and query optimization.
6. Experience with development and integration of REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks, and third-party API integrations.
7. Proficiency with Git and version control.
8. Understanding of authentication, authorization, and system security principles.
9. Familiarity with Linux server environments.
10. Experience with background jobs, queues, cron jobs, and scheduled tasks.
11. Skills in debugging and performance optimization.
12. Ability to work on large, database-driven systems and understand existing codebases.
13. Capability to troubleshoot complex problems and develop new modules.
14. Aptitude for integrating external services and building secure, scalable solutions.
