Chief Executive Officer

Adept Systems is a Kenyan company established in 1994, providing a full range of management consultancy services in the areas of human resources.

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for driving significant profitable growth, aiming for substantial revenue increase within two years, while simultaneously enhancing profitability and expanding market share. This role involves securing new major clients, cultivating executive relationships, and forging strategic partnerships to generate revenue and extend the company's footprint across Eastern Africa. A key focus will be on commercializing technology-enabled services, data processing, and corporate services, alongside exploring new markets and customer segments. The CEO will also lead technological innovations to boost productivity and improve customer experience. Furthermore, the role demands strong stewardship, ensuring financial discipline, robust governance, regulatory compliance, cyber security, and business continuity are maintained throughout the growth initiatives.

1. Execute strategies to achieve significant revenue growth and enhance profitability within two years, while expanding market share.
2. Secure major clients, cultivate executive relationships, and negotiate strategic alliances to generate revenue and expand operations across Eastern Africa.
3. Commercialize technology-enabled services, data processing, and corporate services, and identify new markets and customer segments.
4. Lead technology innovations to improve organizational productivity and enhance customer experience.
5. Ensure strong financial discipline, governance, regulatory compliance, cyber security, and business continuity.

1. Proven track record of commercial success, including revenue growth, securing significant business, establishing strategic partnerships, and negotiating complex agreements.
2. Extensive professional networks and executive credibility with corporate leaders, boards, financial institutions, regulators, and strategic partners.
3. Minimum of 10 years in senior leadership, with at least 6 years in executive leadership, including experience reporting to a Board and strong financial management skills.
4. Experience within highly regulated, technology-enabled organizations, preferably with exposure to financial services, capital markets, or corporate services.
5. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Economics, or a related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
6. Desirable: Relevant professional qualifications and corporate governance certification.
7. Strong commercial acumen, initiative, resilience, integrity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to inspire and lead change effectively.
