Sales Consultant (Direct Sales Representative) Development Program

Faulu Microfinance Bank, founded in 1991, is a microfinance bank based in Nairobi, Kenya. It aims to make a meaningful impact through financial inclusion.

This opportunity is designed for individuals who are passionate about building a rewarding career in sales, banking, and future sales leadership. Successful candidates will receive structured training, coaching, and mentorship while gaining hands-on experience in customer acquisition, relationship management, business development, and financial services sales. Sales Consultants will be deployed across our business regions, including Nairobi, Rift, Nyanza, Coast, Western, Eastern, and Central. Applicants are therefore encouraged to indicate their preferred region of deployment when submitting their application to support the placement process.

1. Acquiring new customers within assigned markets.
2. Promote and sell the Bank’s products and services.
3. Drive account opening, deposit mobilization, and loan acquisition.
4. Conduct field sales activities, activations, and customer engagement initiatives.
5. Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
6. Achieve assigned sales and business growth targets.
7. Gather market intelligence and identify business opportunities.

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
2. Fresh graduates and candidates with up to two (2) years’ experience are encouraged to apply.
3. Experience in banking, microfinance, Insurance or direct sales will be an added advantage.
4. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
5. Self-driven, resilient, and passionate about sales.
6. Willingness to work within assigned markets.
