Bancassurance Officer

Incredo is a financial institution that supports the growth of its insurance business across its branch network.

The officer will collaborate closely with branch teams, credit, operations, and insurance partners to identify and capitalize on insurance opportunities, thereby driving insurance sales growth.

1. Sell insurance products to Incredo customers and new clients.
2. Advise customers on suitable insurance covers based on their needs.
3. Follow up on renewals, claims, and customer inquiries.
4. Work with branch teams to identify and convert insurance opportunities.
5. Maintain proper records of policies, sales, commissions, renewals, and customer engagements.
6. Support cross-selling of insurance products alongside credit products.
7. Build and maintain good relationships with customers and insurance partners.
8. Support achievement of individual and company insurance targets.
9. Ensure compliance with company procedures and insurance regulations.
10. Prepare regular reports on sales, renewals, claims, and pipeline.

1. COP in Insurance is required.
2. Experience in insurance sales, bancassurance, or financial services is required.
3. Experience in a microfinance, lending, banking, or SACCO environment will be an added advantage.
4. Good understanding of insurance products and customer needs.
5. Good sales, communication, and follow-up skills.
6. Good record keeping and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and with branch teams.
8. Diploma or degree in Business, Insurance, Marketing, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
9. Professional, honest, organized, customer-focused, and able to meet targets with minimum supervision.
