Temporary Grants and Sub-Award Manager

It measurably improves the health of Kenyans by supporting the Ministry of Health (MoH) in addressing public health challenges, including reproductive and maternal health.

Population Services Kenya (PS Kenya) is looking for a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented professional to manage grants, sub-awards, budgeting, and compliance. This role involves overseeing financial and grant-related activities for subrecipients, ensuring adherence to donor requirements and internal controls.

1. Lead financial and grants management for subrecipients, covering budgeting, internal controls, and compliance.
2. Review and develop budgets for proposals, awards, and budget realignments in accordance with donor requirements.
3. Manage sub-awards from the initial due diligence and negotiation phases through approvals, payments, and close-out.
4. Monitor subrecipient finances by reviewing reports, invoices, advances, and financial monitoring plans.
5. Track audits and corrective actions while maintaining accurate grant records.
6. Provide training and technical support to enhance subrecipient capacity and strengthen grants management systems.

1. Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field.
2. Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented professional.
3. Demonstrated experience in grants, sub-award, budgeting, and compliance management.
