Digital Marketing Intern

BURN Manufacturing, founded in 2011 in Kiambu County, Kenya, specializes in manufacturing and is a leader in the energy and utilities sector, particularly known for its clean cookstoves. The company is dedicated to expanding its digital presence and marketing initiatives.

The intern will collaborate closely with marketing professionals to support online initiatives and execute effective digital campaigns, providing an excellent opportunity to launch a career in the fast-paced field of digital marketing.

1. Provide support for social media campaigns across various platforms.
2. Assist in generating campaign reports for all operational countries.
3. Contribute to the web development of ongoing projects.
4. Collect and analyze data from marketing campaigns to track performance.
5. Monitor competitor activities and BURN's digital rankings.
6. Attend client meetings alongside the Digital Marketing Manager and Web Developer.
7. Maintain and update the company database for email marketing campaigns.
8. Coordinate with the creative team to produce engaging content for social media channels in all countries.
9. Perform other administrative duties as required to support the marketing team.

1. Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, or a related discipline.
2. Possess strong written and verbal communication abilities.
3. Be familiar with various social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
4. Have a basic understanding of SEO principles and digital advertising strategies.
5. Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
6. Demonstrate high organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
7. Exhibit a creative mindset and the capacity for innovative thinking.
8. Be self-motivated and eager to learn about current digital marketing trends and strategies.
9. Experience in graphic design, content creation, or video editing is advantageous but not mandatory.
