Job Description
This role involves the comprehensive provision of pharmaceutical services, including dispensing medicines, offering patient counselling, managing pharmacy stock, maintaining meticulous records, and ensuring strict adherence to all Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) requirements and relevant pharmaceutical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense and process prescriptions accurately.
- Counsel patients on the appropriate and safe use of their medicines.
- Manage pharmacy stock and inventory effectively.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date pharmacy records.
- Monitor drug expiry dates and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Ensure full compliance with all pharmaceutical standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Hold a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
- Be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
- Possess a valid practicing license.
- Relevant experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting is an advantage.
- Demonstrate good communication, customer service, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work professionally and with minimal supervision.
