Learner - Cybersecurity

As a Learner Cybersecurity at NTT DATA, you will gain practical experience by working closely with the TS Systems Integration team. Your daily activities will involve assisting with configurations, installations, and addressing less complex break/fix incidents. This role is designed to help you develop foundational business knowledge and technical skills in cybersecurity, preparing you for associate-level certification while contributing to client requirements and project lifecycles.

1. Learn to take ownership of portions of installations, break/fix incidents, and problem management during project lifecycles.
2. Collaborate with the Implementation Engineering team to meet client requirements.
3. Execute configurations and installations.
4. Address break/fix events throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Provide support and work effectively with other team members.
6. Perform additional related tasks as required.

1. Basic understanding and appreciation of technical design principles.
2. Ability to develop an understanding of fundamental project and administration processes.
3. Strong learning orientation.
4. Good verbal communication skills.
5. Demonstrated client service orientation.
6. Proactive, hands-on approach.
7. Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
8. Knowledge of security concepts and their application.
9. Familiarity with cloud services from at least one provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
10. Understanding of Networking Fundamentals.
11. Understanding of Application Design concepts.
12. Understanding of project fundamentals, demonstrated through execution of installations and assignments.
13. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
14. Network Security and other Cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.
15. 6-12 months of working experience is an advantage.
16. Entry-level experience in Security technologies.
17. Entry-level experience in providing technical support to clients.
18. Entry-level experience in handling security incidents end-to-end.
19. Entry-level experience in configuring/managing security controls such as Firewall, SIEM, NAC, IDS/IPS, EDR, NDR, UTM, Proxy, SOAR, Honeypots, and other security tools.
20. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on target.
21. Demonstrated ownership in projects and incident handling.
