Job Description
The Pharmaceutical Technologist at Pearl Hospital will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services, focusing on the accurate dispensing of medications, meticulous maintenance of medication records, and effective management of stock levels. This role also involves supporting patient counseling and strictly adhering to both professional and hospital standards to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Requisition drugs and other related commodities.
- Store drugs and health-related commodities appropriately.
- Dispense medicines and related commodities accurately.
- Ensure the economic use of equipment and supplies.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Hold a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Possess a valid practicing license.
- Have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate good computer skills, especially with electronic pharmacy/hospital management systems.
