Interior Design Architect

This role is not solely focused on visualization; the successful candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of the entire design process, from initial site measurement and space planning through design development, material quantification, technical drawing creation, installation instructions, and execution support.

1. Conduct professional site visits and accurately measure sites.
2. Create functional interior layouts and detailed space plans.
3. Generate high-quality 3D designs and photorealistic renders.
4. Produce precise technical drawings, elevations, dimensions, and installation instructions for site teams and fabricators.
5. Quantify materials and assist in developing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cutting information as needed.
6. Convert approved designs into actionable information for various trades, including carpenters, installers, electricians, and gypsum teams.
7. Offer design clarifications and technical assistance throughout project execution.
8. Liaise with project, procurement, and site teams regarding design requirements.
9. Monitor site execution against approved designs to detect early discrepancies.
10. Organize and maintain design files, revisions, specifications, and approvals.
11. Meet project deadlines by delivering designs promptly and accurately.

1. Possess a relevant qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a closely related field.
2. Demonstrate proven professional experience in interior design.
3. Exhibit strong design and rendering capabilities.
4. Be able to accurately measure sites and convert measurements into functional drawings.
5. Have a solid understanding of dimensions, proportions, materials, and construction details.
6. Be proficient in preparing detailed technical and installation drawings.
7. Show demonstrable competence in relevant design, CAD, and rendering software.
8. Be capable of working efficiently and meeting design submission deadlines.
9. Provide a portfolio showcasing both design quality and technical proficiency.
10. Strong practical knowledge of kitchen cabinetry, wardrobes, walk-in closets, custom joinery, TV wall units, vanities, gypsum ceilings, lighting layouts, interior space planning, and finishes/material selection is highly advantageous.
11. Understanding of cabinetry construction, joinery details, and on-site fabrication/installation processes is strongly preferred.
12. Be professional, confident, proactive, and detail-oriented.
13. Possess a presentable demeanor and be solution-driven and accountable.
14. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
15. Be comfortable taking ownership of assignments and proactively identifying potential design or execution issues.
16. Ability to work collaboratively with clients and technical teams.
17. Consistently deliver work with both speed and accuracy.
