This internship offers practical, hands-on experience in the daily operations of Carbon and General Finance. Interns will gain exposure to invoice processing, payment tracking, and document management using SharePoint. The role also provides first-hand experience in supporting financial and tax audits, alongside mentorship and guidance from the Carbon Finance team.
What You Will Do
- Save, organize, and file financial documents and records on SharePoint for both internal and external reporting purposes.
- Track payments and liaise with other departments regarding outstanding amounts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies related to purchase invoices and receipts.
- Provide administrative support, including the approval of Purchase Requisition Forms (PRFs).
- Assist the finance team during financial and tax audits by preparing and organizing necessary supporting documents.
- Perform any other tasks as requested by the line manager or senior management.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum qualification of CPA Section
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling various files and records.
- Results-oriented, capable of effective prioritization, and able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Possess good communication skills and a strong willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently and consistently follow instructions accurately.
