The Executive Driver will be responsible for providing safe, punctual, discreet, and professional transport services to hospital management and other authorized individuals. Key duties include ensuring the assigned vehicle is consistently maintained in a clean, roadworthy, and reliable condition. The driver must also safeguard confidential information and hospital property, and actively support the smooth coordination of official movements for hospital management.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute executive transport journeys efficiently.
- Maintain safe driving practices and ensure fitness for duty.
- Oversee the care and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain security awareness.
- Accurately record fuel consumption and manage expenditure accountability.
- Coordinate responses to incidents and provide authorized support.
Requirements
- Possess a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or an equivalent qualification.
- Hold a valid driving license suitable for the assigned vehicle, subject to verification before appointment and regular checks thereafter.
- Defensive driving training is preferred.
- Demonstrate basic first aid and vehicle troubleshooting skills.
- Successfully complete reference and role-appropriate background checks, including obtaining a Certificate of Good Conduct.
