Business Development & Marketing Executive – Maternity Services

Scion Hospital is an ultra-modern, registered hospital in Kenya with three branches in Nairobi. Established in 2009, it has grown significantly, serving over 1.5 million members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to enhance the growth and market presence of Scion Hospital's maternity services. This includes increasing maternity patient volumes, securing referrals, fostering strategic partnerships, boosting brand visibility, and ultimately driving revenue. The role also requires building and maintaining strong relationships with expectant mothers, corporate clients, insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and community partners.

1. Drive business development and revenue growth for maternity services.
2. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies for maternity services.
3. Manage relationships with key stakeholders and cultivate referral networks.
4. Collaborate effectively with various hospital branches.
5. Oversee reporting and performance management for maternity service initiatives.

1. Hold a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
2. Possess a minimum of one year of proven experience specifically in marketing or business development within maternity services.
3. Demonstrate experience in healthcare marketing, maternity lead generation, referral development, or patient acquisition.
4. Exhibit a strong understanding of the maternity market and customer acquisition strategies.
5. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
6. Possess excellent sales, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
7. Be capable of working independently, meeting targets, and delivering measurable results.
8. Have good knowledge of both digital and traditional marketing channels.
9. Be proficient in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.
