Job Description
The Kenya Fisheries Service is inviting applications for the position of Director of Fisheries, specifically focusing on Capture Fisheries. This executive role involves overseeing and guiding initiatives related to the conservation, management, and sustainable development of Kenya's capture fisheries resources, aligning with the Service's mandate.
Requirements
- Hold a BA/BSc/HND qualification.
- Submit a duly filled Kenya Fisheries Service Application for Employment Form (version:2026), a cover letter, and a Curriculum Vitae showcasing experience, key competencies, and skills.
- Attach copies of National ID, academic certificates & transcripts, professional certificates, testimonials, and Curriculum Vitae to the application.
- Be prepared to produce original academic and professional certificates & transcripts, a Letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University Education (CUE) for degrees obtained from foreign universities, National Identity Card, a valid Police Clearance Certificate, a valid Tax Compliance Certificate, HELB Clearance, EACC Clearance, and a Certificate from a recognized Credit Reference Bureau if shortlisted.
