Social Media and Content Lead

Zarini Naturals is seeking a Social Media & Content Lead to manage and expand the online presence for its beauty brands, Posh by Linda beauty & Spa in Machakos and Allso beauty in Nairobi.

The Social Media & Content Lead will be responsible for creatively and strategically managing and expanding the online presence for two beauty brands: Posh by Linda beauty & Spa in Machakos and Allso beauty in Nairobi. This role requires a results-driven individual who can effectively engage audiences and drive brand growth across various social media platforms.

1. Manage and maintain the content calendar across platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
2. Create and capture in-store content, including photos, reels, stories, and user-generated style videos.
3. Foster community engagement by responding to comments and direct messages, building authentic audience relationships.
4. Identify, recruit, and collaborate with UGC creators and micro-influencers for brand partnerships.
5. Monitor and report weekly on content performance metrics such as reach, engagement, saves, and conversions.
6. Provide live coverage and content capture for in-store activations and events.
7. Keep up-to-date with beauty trends, Kenyan social culture, and changes in platform algorithms.

1. Hold a BA/BSc/HND or Diploma qualification.
2. Possess 2-3 years of relevant experience in social media and content management.
3. Demonstrated creativity, strategic thinking, and a results-driven approach.
4. Proven ability to plan, shoot, and edit engaging social media content.
5. Strong community management and audience engagement skills.
6. Experience in identifying and collaborating with influencers.
7. Ability to track and analyze content performance data.
8. Knowledge of current beauty trends, Kenyan social media landscape, and platform algorithms.
