This individual will lead the Doctors Unit within the Clinical Services Department, focusing on clinical leadership and ensuring the provision of high-quality, patient-centred care. The position involves supervising medical officers, upholding healthcare standards, and ensuring adherence to both regulatory and institutional policies.

1. Provide clinical leadership within the Doctors Unit.
2. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
3. Oversee and manage medical officers.
4. Enforce healthcare standards and protocols.
5. Support compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.

1. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree.
2. Minimum of 5 years' post-internship experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Registration and a valid practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
4. Proficiency in general medical practice, capable of managing a wide range of conditions.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with proven mentorship experience.
6. Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, clinical governance, and hospital operations.
7. Ability to manage emergencies and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
8. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
9. Competence in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and hospital information systems.
10. High ethical standards, integrity, and a patient-centred approach.
