Service Advisor (Automotive)

Sheer Logic Management Consultants (SLMC) was incorporated in 1997 as a limited liability company. Its primary goal is to provide Human Resource consultancy and training services to a diverse range of private and public industries and economic sectors.

The Service Advisor will serve as the main point of contact for customers seeking vehicle service and parts, focusing on understanding their requirements and ensuring a seamless service experience. This includes managing the entire service process from initial contact to vehicle handover, coordinating with workshop teams, and handling billing to foster strong customer relationships.

1. Greet customers and accurately record vehicle details.
2. Schedule service appointments and monitor vehicles due for maintenance.
3. Conduct service check-ups to identify necessary and potential service needs.
4. Prepare service and repair work orders in collaboration with the workshop.
5. Explain quotations, promote additional services, and provide regular customer updates.
6. Prepare invoices, gate passes, and perform pre-delivery inspections.
7. Hand over vehicles, explain completed work, and gather customer feedback.
8. Promote new offers and marketing campaigns to customers.
9. Recommend appropriate service intervals based on vehicle usage conditions.

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2. At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
3. Completion of relevant Service Advisor training is beneficial.
4. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, business acumen, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to perform effectively under pressure with keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
