Construction Supervisor

Victory Farms Kenya is the world’s fastest growing aquaculture company, founded in 2015, operating in the agriculture and agribusiness sector.

The Supervisor will coordinate and monitor on-site operations while enforcing safety and compliance standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic construction environments.

1. Planning, organizing, and controlling construction projects from start to finish.
2. Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and other staff.
3. Ensuring a safe work environment by implementing and enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
4. Monitoring work progress and ensuring that it meets quality standards and project specifications.
5. Effectively communicating with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.
6. Developing and managing construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
7. Overseeing the allocation and use of resources, including materials and equipment.
8. Identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
9. Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and other relevant documentation.
10. Providing guidance and support to construction workers, including training on safety procedures and best practices.
11. Monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to the allocated budget.

1. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
2. In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
3. Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
7. Familiarity with construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
