Internship Description
The Davis & Shirtliff Group, a prominent supplier of water and energy solutions across the region, is seeking a qualified and talented young accounting professional for a three-month Accounts Intern program. This program is designed to provide interns with practical experience and a stimulating work environment, with successful candidates having a strong chance of permanent deployment within the Group Shared Services.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and analyze the general ledger.
- Manage cash office operations.
- Perform bank reconciliation and cash book management.
- Conduct job costing.
- Prepare management accounts.
- Manage credit.
- Maintain the creditors ledger.
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of an Upper Second-Class Honours Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Be fully qualified CPA (K) or ACCA.
- Possess good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office packages.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills as a good team player.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
