Job Description
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving growth in the events and production sector by identifying and acquiring new corporate clients, agencies, NGOs, and other organizations. This involves building strong relationships with key decision-makers and converting leads into paying clients. The role requires selling a comprehensive range of services, including events, production, studio, AV, and livestreaming. The executive will meet with clients to understand their specific needs, collaborate with the internal team to develop tailored solutions, and prepare proposals and quotations, ensuring diligent follow-up until deals are closed. Additionally, the role focuses on nurturing existing client relationships to identify opportunities for repeat business and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve agreed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new business from corporate clients, agencies, NGOs, and other organizations.
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and convert leads into paying clients.
- Sell a range of services including events, production, studio, AV, and livestreaming.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and collaborate with the team to develop suitable solutions.
- Prepare proposals and quotations, following up to close deals.
- Grow existing client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and work towards agreed sales targets.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, client acquisition, or account management.
- Experience in events, production, media, advertising, hospitality, or experiential marketing is advantageous.
- Proven ability to prospect, meet clients, pitch, negotiate, and close business.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence in dealing with corporate clients and decision-makers.
- Strong follow-up skills and the ability to work independently to meet targets.
- A Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Events, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
