Software Tester / QA Engineer

NestVest operates a digital platform, likely in the property or real estate sector, focusing on website functionality and customer workflows.

The Software Tester / QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of NestVest's website and digital customer journeys. This includes performing comprehensive testing prior to every production release, with a particular emphasis on verifying the accuracy of property data, the functionality of enquiry submission channels, and the seamless handover of leads to the CRM system. The role also entails taking ownership of test documentation, tracking defects, executing regression tests, and assessing risks associated with releases.

1. Develop, update, and maintain structured test cases, test plans, and release checklists for all core product modules.
2. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device layout testing for property search, listing detail pages, and all interactive forms.
3. Validate the entire enquiry pipeline, including web forms, WhatsApp lead links, CRM data handover, and marketing source attribution tracking.
4. Execute full regression testing following bug fixes, feature updates, and platform releases.
5. Log defects with complete reproduction steps, screenshot/video evidence, severity classification, and expected correct behavior.
6. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and verify all resolved defects before production sign-off.
7. Proactively flag critical release risks and provide comprehensive supporting test evidence to the product team.

1. A minimum of three years of professional experience in software testing or QA engineering.
2. Strong capabilities in manual end-to-end web application testing.
3. Practical experience with cross-browser, mobile device testing, REST API testing, and bug tracking management tools.
4. Hands-on experience using Postman or similar API testing tools.
5. Ability to write clear, repeatable test cases and accurately reproduce complex functional defects.
6. Bonus: Practical test automation experience with frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and clear written communication for test and defect documentation.
