Job Description
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for enforcing cGMP compliance on the production shop floor through GMP rounds, documentation review, and adherence to approved procedures.
The role oversees production operations, manpower planning, batch documentation, and batch release while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiency are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, safety, and quality standards
• Supervise material receipt, verification, and packing activities
• Review production reports and batch manufacturing records
• Perform reconciliation and ensure accurate documentation
• Coordinate manpower, machines, and materials to meet production targets
• Follow up on machine breakdowns and maintenance activities
• Review and update SOPs
• Supervise staff performance, training, and discipline
• Support audits, inspections, and health & safety compliance
• Raise deviations and change controls where necessary
Requirements
• Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong understanding of cGMP and Quality Management Systems
• Computer literacy in MS Office applications
