Classic Mouldings, established in 1991, focuses on interior design and fit-out projects across Kenya, including residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors. The company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team, providing an opportunity to gain practical experience on live construction sites. The successful candidate will contribute to various project stages, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to budgets.

1. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and develop cost estimates for projects.
2. Conduct site measurements and accurately monitor material consumption.
3. Generate quotations and manage the processing of subcontractor payments.
4. Track project expenditures and identify any variations from the original plan.
5. Ensure all projects are completed within their allocated and approved budgets.
6. Maintain effective communication with suppliers, site teams, and clients.
7. Accurately read and interpret architectural and other technical drawings.

1. Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction, or a closely related discipline.
2. Possess 2 to 3 years of professional experience in quantity surveying or general construction projects.
3. Experience specifically in interior fit-out, joinery, or finishing works is a significant advantage.
4. Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
5. Be proficient in reading and understanding technical and architectural drawings.
6. Exhibit qualities of honesty, strong organizational skills, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
7. Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
