Job Description

The Property Advisor at HFCB Kenya Limited is tasked with facilitating the sale of properties listed within the digital property business unit, encompassing both private and publicly developed assets. This involves guiding clients through the initial phases of property acquisition, ensuring a seamless transition to the onboarding and portfolio management teams. Key responsibilities include following up on initial deposits, ensuring the timely preparation and execution of offer letters and sale agreements, and accurately documenting customer information within the system. This position is crucial for boosting property uptake, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, and contributing significantly to the achievement of sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Systematically generate leads through project marketing, cold calling, referrals, and other media, ensuring all engagements are recorded in the CRM.
  2. Document all client interactions from prospecting to deal closure within the CRM system.
  3. Conduct market surveys to determine competitive property pricing and report findings to the supervisor.
  4. Submit periodic sales reports (daily, weekly, monthly) detailing client pipelines and generated returns to management using CRM systems.
  5. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships by offering support, information, and guidance throughout the entire customer journey.
  6. Participate in promotional activities for property sales at organized events such as expos, site activations, and mall activations.
  7. Follow up on and ensure the preparation and approval of necessary documents like application/booking forms, offer letters, sale agreements, and transfer documents.
  8. Ensure all property sales activities comply with real estate laws and policies, maintaining high professional standards in client engagements.
  9. Participate in both internal and external training programs.
  10. Provide support to both internal and external sales agents.
  11. Coordinate documentation with the internal legal liaison and, when necessary, engage external lawyers for legal documentation.
  12. Assist with the physical handover of plots to buyers on site.
  13. Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in using the Internet, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
  3. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  4. Ability to commence work immediately.
  5. Estate Agents Registration Board (EARB) certification is an advantage.
  6. Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate sales.
  7. Prior experience with an insurance company or a bank is preferred.
  8. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  9. Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
  10. High level of integrity.
  11. A strong team player.
  12. Ability to perform effectively with minimal supervision.
  13. Adaptability and flexibility to meet targets and business needs.
  14. Strong coordination and follow-through skills.
  15. Customer-centric approach and responsiveness to client needs.
