Sanlam Allianz Investments Ltd (SAIL), a prominent regional fund manager known for its strong service delivery and performance, is looking for an Investment Intern to join its Investment Team in Kenya. This short-term internship offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in asset management by contributing to investment research, market analysis, and reporting. The intern will report directly to the Chief Investments Officer.

1. Prepare daily market updates and weekly cash flow meeting materials.
2. Assist with portfolio monitoring, analysis, and reporting tasks.
3. Support the creation of client reports and engaging presentations regularly.
4. Aid in trading activities, market monitoring, and trade administration.
5. Conduct equity, fixed income, and broader market research to inform investment recommendations.
6. Provide general support to the team through ad hoc research, analysis, reporting, and administrative duties as needed.
7. Adhere to all Company policies, including internal and external guidelines, risk management, compliance, and regulatory standards.
8. Fulfill any other responsibilities outlined in performance objectives or assigned periodically.

1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
2. Be actively progressing towards CFA, ACCA, or CPA certification.
3. Possess at least 0.5 to 2 years of experience or prior internship in a similar role within the financial sector.
4. Demonstrate strong report writing, presentation, and analytical skills.
5. Be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
6. Exhibit integrity, professionalism, and a strong willingness to learn.
