Graduate Trainee Programme

The Stanbic Bank Kenya Graduate Trainee Programme is designed to develop foundational professional knowledge and practical skills in recent graduates. Trainees will deliver consistent, accurate, and timely work outputs by applying structured learning and guided judgment within defined frameworks. The program focuses on building capability, credibility, and business understanding through exposure to core processes, stakeholder interaction, and problem-solving activities, all aimed at supporting operational effectiveness, enhancing service delivery, and achieving team and organizational objectives.

1. Must hold a First Degree in fields such as Audit, Business Commerce, Communication, Finance and Accounting, Banking, Information Technology, Internal Audit, Legal, Marketing, Mathematical Sciences, Risk Management, Analytics, Quantitative Studies, or other related disciplines.
2. Applicants must have graduated from a recognized university within the last three years at the time of application.
3. Less than 1 year of professional experience is required.
4. Demonstrated exposure to a structured work environment through internships, vacation work, graduate programs, or entry-level roles, involving task execution, system/tool usage, meeting deadlines, and collaborative output delivery.
5. Possess strong behavioral competencies including strategic thinking, communication, influence, agility, change leadership, execution excellence, collaboration, people focus, integrity, and professional standards.
6. Exhibit key technical competencies such as fundamental and applied AI skills (Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI Agents, Prompting, AI interactions), data and analytics skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, innovation, ideation, influencing, leadership (strategic thinking and decision-making), and business acumen.
