Information Systems Audit Intern

Zade Associates LLP is seeking an Information Systems Audit Intern. This entry-level position is open to candidates of all genders who have completed or are awaiting graduation from a relevant Bachelor's degree program. The role involves assisting with IT audit engagements, including risk assessments and control evaluations, with a final application deadline of October 23, 2026.

1. Support the evaluation of IT general controls, application controls, and information systems security.
2. Participate in IT risk assessments and information systems audit engagements.
3. Conduct testing of access controls, system configurations, data integrity, and business process controls.
4. Identify weaknesses in controls, system vulnerabilities, and technology-related risks.
5. Prepare audit working papers, document findings, and contribute to audit reports.
6. Research emerging technology risks and propose suitable control improvements.

1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
2. Achieved First Class Honours or Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in the relevant undergraduate degree.
3. Must have completed all degree requirements and either graduated or be awaiting formal graduation.
4. Possess a strong understanding of IT controls, information systems, cybersecurity principles, and risk management.
5. An understanding of IT governance, risk management, and control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) is advantageous.
6. Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
7. Be proficient in relevant computer applications and data analysis tools.
8. One to two years of practical experience in IT audit, information systems, IT controls, or cybersecurity is a strong advantage.
9. Relevant certifications or professional qualifications, such as CISA or equivalent, are an added advantage.
