Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify high-potential clients and opportunities, utilizing the latest data-driven insights and market trends to strategically target your outreach.
  2. Build and nurture relationships with both existing and new clients, creating lasting partnerships that drive mutual success.
  3. Deliver compelling presentations and demos that resonate with clients’ needs, showcasing solutions as innovative answers to their challenges.
  4. Articulate the unique value proposition of solutions and their ability to address clients’ pain points effectively.
  5. Tailor proposals and quotations to showcase how offerings align specifically with clients’ businesses and requirements.
  6. Embrace innovative techniques, including digital networking, social selling, and thought leadership, to establish yourself as a go-to expert in the industry.
  7. Stay ahead of the curve by consistently researching and applying the latest sales methodologies, ensuring your approach remains fresh and effective.
  8. Set and surpass ambitious sales targets, aiming to achieve minimum quarterly and annual sales targets.
  9. Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns.
  11. Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant information to management.
  12. Participate in sales meetings, conferences, and events to network and promote the company’s products or services.
  13. Train and mentor junior sales team members, providing guidance and support.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, IT or related field is preferred.
  2. MBA in Marketing, coupled with sales/marketing professional courses (an added advantage).
  3. A minimum 3 years of experience in B2B solutions sales of electronic security systems, such as CCTV, Fire alarm, Access control, parking management system etc. with a demonstrated record of exceeding targets.
  4. A keen understanding of B2B sales dynamics and a deep familiarity with the Kenya market. PAN African exposure is a strong plus.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster authentic connections.
  6. A strategic mindset with a knack for identifying untapped opportunities in the market.
  7. Innate curiosity and agility in responding to evolving customer needs.
  8. Analytical acumen and organizational finesse, ensuring seamless management of sales processes.
  9. Self-initiative and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining top-notch quality.
  10. Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and improve the profitability and competitive performance of the business.
  11. A penchant for continuous improvement, demonstrated through the evolution of your strategies and contributions.
  12. Knowledge of the relevant industry, market trends, and competitors.
  13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  14. Proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems.
  15. Valid driver’s license, passport and willingness to travel as required.
