Relationship Officers (Multiple Post)

This role at Fincorp Credit Limited is designed for go-getters passionate about sales, business development, and cultivating strong customer relationships. Relationship Officers will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers, expanding business opportunities, and maintaining robust connections with both existing and prospective clients. A key aspect of the role involves driving quality loan and business acquisition in strict adherence to Fincorp’s credit policies. Officers will also conduct market visits and customer activations to generate new business leads, follow up on applications, and support the overall quality of the loan portfolio through effective customer engagement. Collaboration with Branch Managers and and other team members is essential to achieve branch objectives.

1. Identify and acquire new customers and business opportunities.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
3. Drive quality loan and business acquisition in line with Fincorp’s credit policies.
4. Conduct market visits and customer activations to generate new business.
5. Follow up on leads, applications, and customer relationships.
6. Support the quality of the loan portfolio through effective customer follow-up.
7. Work closely with the Branch Manager and other teams to achieve branch objectives.

1. Hold a relevant Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
2. Possess previous experience in sales, relationship management, microfinance, banking, SACCOS, or credit/lending (advantageous).
3. Demonstrate strong business development and customer acquisition skills.
4. Exhibit excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
5. Have a strong understanding of the local market.
6. Be capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
7. Possess a target-driven, proactive, and self-motivated personality.
8. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
