Job Description

The position focuses on driving treasury revenue by collaborating with Retail relationship managers and Investment Banking teams to coordinate Foreign Exchange Solutions. It requires segmented sales and providing custom-made solutions to clients and designated sectors, actively marketing products like Spot FX and Forwards to retail clients. The role also involves managing and ensuring timely booking of forex transactions, advising staff on FX operations, monitoring market trends for revenue growth, and relaying important information to manage risk and maximize gains. Compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implement the retail treasury sales strategy to achieve profitability targets through revenue maximization and cost management.
  2. Build and maintain productive relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive business solutions and revenue growth for the retail treasury sales portfolio.
  3. Champion consistent, seamless, and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
  4. Organize and plan prospective client calls to manage relationships effectively.
  5. Ensure strong cross-selling of existing and new treasury products to clients, maintaining effective liaison with relevant bank business units.
  6. Drive treasury revenue by collaborating with Retail relationship managers and Investment Banking teams for Foreign Exchange Solutions.
  7. Drive segmented sales and provide custom-made solutions to clients and designated sectors.
  8. Actively market defined products, such as Spot FX and Forwards, to retail clients.
  9. Manage and ensure timely booking of forex transactions through the Bank’s core banking system.
  10. Advise staff on matters pertaining to FX operations and best practices.
  11. Monitor trends and actively identify potential areas for revenue growth.
  12. Relay important information or news to relevant parties promptly to manage risk and maximize gains.
  13. Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
  2. Possess an ACI Dealing Certificate.
  3. A Master’s degree in management or a relevant business field is an added advantage.
  4. Have a minimum of three years of experience in Treasury Sales.
  5. Possess at least two years of experience in Retail Banking.
  6. Demonstrate a minimum of three years of commercial awareness with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  7. Working knowledge of Reuters and Bloomberg platforms for at least two years is an added advantage.
