Job Description
This role at Biometrics Technology Limited involves serving as a PSIM Configuration Expert, responsible for technically integrating physical security infrastructure with enterprise IT systems. The expert will be crucial in deploying and managing complex Physical Security Information Management platforms to ensure efficient and seamless business operations for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement intricate PSIM platforms, integrating various security subsystems.
- Create and sustain integrations utilizing APIs, SDKs, and bespoke drivers.
- Set up Cause-and-Effect matrices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and automated incident response workflows.
- Manage system lifecycle activities including maintenance, patching, firmware updates, and database performance tuning.
- Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure successful deployment alignment.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information System Engineering.
- Possess a PSIM OEM Configuration Expert Certificate.
- Have a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers, SQL, and TCP/IP.
- Be familiar with various security hardware protocols.
- Be proficient in scripting languages such as Python, C#, and PowerShell.
