The Security Manager at M-Gas is responsible for developing and implementing a robust, proactive, and efficient security framework to safeguard the organization's personnel, assets, and operational continuity. This includes strategically managing the security budget, leading incident and crisis response efforts, and driving fraud prevention initiatives through policy development and awareness training. The role also involves overseeing third-party security teams, conducting regular security audits, and collaborating with consultants and various stakeholders to mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and enhance overall organizational resilience, thereby protecting M-Gas's reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and monitor the annual security budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and compliance with approved expenditures.
- Prepare and deliver periodic reports on security operations, incidents, and budget performance, including monthly internal updates and quarterly executive summaries.
- Oversee all security incidents affecting personnel or assets, ensuring swift resolution, thorough documentation, and leading crisis response efforts in coordination with the Business Continuity Committee.
- Conduct post-incident analyses to identify root causes and implement effective preventive measures.
- Review and manage all fraud-related cases, providing clear instructions to the Security and Investigations Consultant and tracking progress for timely resolution.
- Lead proactive fraud prevention initiatives, including awareness training and recommending policy updates to address vulnerabilities.
- Supervise third-party security teams, including Special Projects, Gate Guarding, and Community Liaison teams, ensuring their activities align with organizational security objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for third-party teams.
- Lead security audits to identify and mitigate risks across all facilities and operations.
- Develop and implement policies for access control, surveillance, and other critical security measures.
- Drive continuous improvement through regular training, process updates, and adoption of best practices.
- Maintain regular communication with the Security and Investigations Consultant to align on priorities and outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive security strategies and compliance with regulations.
Requirements

- Proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Forms, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Case Management and data analytics software is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in security and fraud management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CFE are a plus.
