Programmes Officer

The Nairobi Women's Hospital is a healthcare institution that, through its GVRC programs, focuses on addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) through various initiatives including fundraising, program implementation, and advocacy.

The Nairobi Women's Hospital is seeking a professional and results-oriented Programmes Officer to lead the fundraising, design, planning, and execution of GVRC programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting resource mobilization efforts, ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with both GVRC and partner requirements, and fostering strategic partnerships. Additionally, the role involves contributing to research, advocacy, and capacity building initiatives related to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) themes. This position requires strong capabilities in project management, partnership engagement, advocacy, and communication, with an emphasis on collaborative work within both GVRC and NWH teams.

1. Drive fundraising, design, planning, and implementation of GVRC programs.
2. Support resource mobilization efforts.
3. Ensure projects are delivered in line with GVRC and partner requirements.
4. Coordinate strategic partnerships.
5. Contribute to research, advocacy, and capacity building on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) related themes.

1. Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of relevant experience in project management.
3. Demonstrated skills in teamwork, building relationships, and customer focus.
4. Strong communication, reliability, business acumen, and planning skills.
5. Desirable qualities include creativity, initiative, managing performance, and results orientation.
6. High degree of professionalism and ethics.
