Senior Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer

The Senior Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer will be a key member of the ICT team, responsible for the comprehensive management of the company's server infrastructure, virtual environments, network security, and general ICT hardware. This involves ensuring the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of all related systems, from deployment to ongoing maintenance and support. The role demands a strong technical background across various operating systems, networking protocols, and security practices.

1. Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments.
2. Create, manage, and monitor virtual machines using platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, or Proxmox.
3. Perform server patching, updates, backups, disaster recovery testing, and capacity planning.
4. Monitor server performance, availability, and overall infrastructure health.
5. Install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
6. Provide support for LAN, WAN, VPN, and remote access services.
7. Configure and maintain firewall rules, VPN solutions, and network security controls.
8. Monitor security events and respond to infrastructure-related incidents.
9. Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security best practices.
10. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain servers, storage systems, desktops, laptops, and other ICT equipment.
11. Manage ICT asset inventories and lifecycle processes.
12. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, infrastructure diagrams, and operating procedures.
13. Provide second-level and third-level technical support for infrastructure-related issues.
14. Participate in infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and cybersecurity improvement initiatives.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in systems administration, network administration, or infrastructure engineering.
3. Proficiency in Windows Server Administration.
4. Experience with Linux Administration (Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat, Rocky Linux, CentOS).
5. Familiarity with Virtualization Technologies (Hyper-V, VMware, Proxmox).
6. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing, and Switching.
7. Skills in Firewall and VPN Administration.
8. Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Access Control Management.
9. Experience with Server and Storage Hardware Management.
10. Exposure to Cloud Platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is preferred.
11. Scripting abilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python are a plus.
12. Professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, RHCSA, LPIC-1, or Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA) or equivalent firewall certification are preferred.
13. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
14. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
15. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
16. Strong understanding of infrastructure security principles.
17. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
