The Transport Executor plays a critical role in DHL Supply Chain's logistics operations, overseeing the efficient planning, execution, and coordination of all transportation activities. This position is essential for guaranteeing the timely and cost-effective movement of goods, upholding compliance with all relevant regulations, and continuously optimizing the performance of the company's transportation network.

1. Manage the customer database to create optimal routes for the dedicated fleet.
2. Proactively identify and resolve transportation-related issues like delays, route changes, or unexpected challenges.
3. Plan transportation routes efficiently to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit times.
4. Implement effective problem-solving strategies to minimize disruptions and uphold service levels.
5. Enhance overall customer service levels.
6. Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and logistics partners to ensure precise and timely execution of transport plans.
7. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
8. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for transportation efficiency, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
9. Analyze performance data to identify trends, evaluate operational effectiveness, and propose improvements.
10. Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize service levels and manage costs.
11. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and transportation service providers.
12. Manage the assignment of customers and orders across different routes.
13. Ensure master routes are maintained and individually optimized.
14. Guarantee compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
15. Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, providing necessary information and support during transit.
16. Actively participate in and support change initiatives within the organization.
17. Plan and utilize all internal resources to maximize productivity.
18. Liaise with various levels of management within the FMCG environment.
19. Ensure proper care of equipment, including keeping GPS units in good working order.
20. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
21. Operate within designated areas as determined by management and business needs.
22. Adhere to standard operating procedures and safe working practices.
23. Ensure all documentation is accurately accounted for and completed as instructed.
24. Cooperate with dispatch to ensure correct information is collected for reporting.
25. Complete daily allocation sheets accurately and promptly.
26. Report any discrepancies to the Transport Manager.
27. Record daily information from trip sheets collected from Dispatch Clerks.
28. Communicate professionally and politely to foster respect, goodwill, and trust.
29. Maintain a tidy, safe, and neat work environment at all times.

1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
2. Possess a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in transportation operations, specifically in execution and coordination.
3. Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
4. Have a solid understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
5. Be familiar with transportation management systems (TMS) and route optimization tools.
6. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade others.
7. Capable of managing large transport networks in near real-time.
8. Proficient in reviewing and analyzing results, and reporting on findings.
