Solution Architect

Ericsson is a global telecommunications company founded in 1876, with a significant presence in Nairobi, Kenya, focusing on providing communication services and solutions.

This opportunity is for a Solution Architect to join the Ericsson Kenya team, focusing on the end-to-end delivery of Communication Services solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting customer requirements and leveraging technology opportunities to develop comprehensive technical offerings, solutions, and proposals, thereby directly contributing to Ericsson's business profitability.

1. Deploy and configure Communication Services products.
2. Prepare and execute system, module, and acceptance tests.
3. Collaborate with business partners to identify and drive improvements in delivery processes.
4. Work with the team to resolve technical product delivery issues.
5. Maintain and update solution documentation.
6. Provide feedback to Research & Development for potential portfolio enhancements.
7. Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing activities.
8. Stay updated on new technologies and share solution insights to enhance customer competence.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
2. 5-10 years of relevant experience.
3. Proven experience in delivering and implementing cloud infrastructure or software virtualization.
4. Knowledge of CS Core Portfolio, including MSC-S, MGW, and CTC.
5. Knowledge of IMS Portfolio, including MTAS, CSCF, SBC, MRF, DNS, and ENUM.
6. Familiarity with Cloud / NFVI technology.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Business acumen and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and networks.
9. Ability to innovate, adapt, and respond to changing environments.
10. Results-driven with strong planning and organizational skills.
11. Additional programming skills are advantageous.
