Talent Trail HR is seeking an experienced Truck Driver / Tea Sales Person to support tea distribution and sales operations across the Ukambani region. The successful candidate will transport products safely while promoting tea products, developing customer relationships and contributing to the company's sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive company trucks to transport tea products to retailers, wholesalers and distributors.
- Load, transport and unload products while ensuring they are handled safely to prevent damage.
- Promote and actively sell tea products to existing and prospective customers.
- Identify new retail outlets and distribution opportunities to expand market coverage.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
- Conduct regular customer visits to collect feedback and monitor customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales reports, delivery records and daily activity reports for management review.
- Inspect the assigned vehicle regularly and promptly report maintenance issues to ensure safe operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a truck driver, driver-salesperson or field sales representative is highly desirable.
- Fluency in Kikamba is mandatory.
- Valid Class C1 or Class C Driving Licence.
- Good understanding of the Ukambani region and surrounding road network is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, customer service and negotiation skills.
- Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading products.
- Self-motivated, trustworthy and able to work independently.
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
