Branch Assistant

This hands-on operational role at Victory Farms Kenya involves maintaining efficient processes, ensuring the branch is well-organized, supporting customers and the sales team, and upholding high standards of cleanliness and service. The Branch Assistant will report to the Regional Sales Supervisor and contribute to delivering a seamless and exceptional customer experience, focusing on operational excellence, reliability, and organization.

1. Receive and verify incoming stock deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation and collaborating with the Regional Supervisor for quality inspections and compliance.
2. Assist in managing inventory by conducting regular stock counts, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining accurate records of stock movements, and reporting significant variances.
3. Maintain the cleanliness and order of the branch, including rotogals, drums, crates, displays, and weighing scales, to create an appealing customer environment.
4. Accurately weigh fish for client orders upon request from the Branch Captain, providing efficient service to the Branch Sales Team.
5. Verify payments for fish orders placed by the sales team and record them on a separate sheet.
6. Prepare regular reports on inventory levels and operational issues, communicating information to the Regional Sales Supervisor and collaborating on solutions.
7. Foster positive working relationships and transparent communication with colleagues, collaborating with the sales team for seamless branch operations.
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and adherence to all company policies and procedures for operational activities.

1. Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma, with a certificate in Sales, Marketing, or a related field being an advantage.
2. Have at least one year of proven experience in sales and marketing roles.
3. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
4. Exhibit a strong ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
5. Show strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
6. Be familiar with POS systems and basic inventory management tools.
7. Be team-oriented with good organizational skills.
