Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to advance the Wealth Management strategies, particularly for the SME segment, through Capital Markets Products and Solutions (CMPS). The successful candidate will be instrumental in the overall business development of the unit and in driving the strategy to meet financial objectives. This involves supporting SME clients with their CMPS product needs and assisting the Treasury Sales team in cultivating a strong, loyal CMPS customer base by fostering relationships with key decision-makers to expand business opportunities. The role also entails promoting cross-selling of CMPS products like FX, Fixed Income, and Wealth Lending within the SME segment, collaborating with segmental product managers on campaigns, incentives, and training. Additionally, the specialist will provide input for new product development tailored for retail banking, offer market and product updates, and deliver financial solutions to clients through virtual or in-person engagements. Portfolio analysis and client liaison regarding performance, along with identifying cross-sell opportunities, are also key aspects. The role requires the ability to address multi-asset class and diverse product requirements, with a focus on attracting new clients to products and investments within the SME segment. Ultimately, the specialist is responsible for driving the performance and productivity of SME Fixed Income and FX products.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SME clients in fulfilling Capital Markets Products and Solutions (CMPS) product requirements.
- Assist the Treasury Sales team in developing a robust and loyal CMPS customer base by building relationships with key decision-makers.
- Promote cross-selling of CMPS products (FX, Fixed Income, Wealth Lending) within the SME segment, collaborating on campaigns, incentives, and training.
- Contribute to new product development tailored for retail banking.
- Provide market and product updates, and offer financial solutions to clients via virtual calls, face-to-face meetings, and presentations.
- Conduct portfolio analysis and liaise with clients and relationship teams on portfolio performance to identify cross-sell opportunities.
- Address multi-asset class and diverse product requirements.
- Increase focus on attracting new clients to products and investments within the SME segment.
- Drive the performance and productivity of SME Fixed Income and FX products.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum University Degree.
- Possess knowledge of market, products, and processes.
- Demonstrate strong relationship management and client pitching skills.
- Understand regulatory frameworks and requirements.
- Exhibit business partnering capabilities.
- Proficient in application and PC skills.
- Have strong knowledge of movements in Foreign Exchange and bond markets.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Be an effective communicator and presentable.
- Possess good analytical skills.
- Have an overall understanding of Wealth products and solutions.
- CISI/ACI certifications are an added advantage.
- Fluency in English.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
