CIFOR-ICRAF is seeking a Research Associate to provide technical support to integrated CGIAR–NARES breeding networks, coordinate on-farm validation trials, and strengthen agricultural research systems across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ENABLE and CGIAR breeding activities.
- Coordinate on-farm validation trials.
- Support breeding operations costing and planning.
- Maintain breeding portal data and records.
- Coordinate logistics and distribution of trial materials.
- Support reporting and documentation.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Plant Breeding, Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology or Statistics.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
- Understanding of breeding operations and seed systems.
- Valid driving license.
- Ability to travel within East Africa.
