Job Description
Are you an experienced HR professional based in Nairobi, Kenya, with strong organizational skills and an interest in both people and workplace operations? Then read along! Africa Safari Trips is looking for an HR & Facility Officer to join our team and support the smooth running of our HR operations and office facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, leave, payroll information, and HR documentation.
- Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle: Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and related employee documentation.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Support disciplinary, performance, and employee relations processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- HR Reporting & Documentation: Prepare HR letters, reports, audit documents, and maintain accurate HR records and working documents.
- Facility & Safety Management: Coordinate facility maintenance, housekeeping, utilities, security, health and safety, and environmental compliance.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with management and relevant teams to address HR and facility matters and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
- Active IHRM Membership.
- CHRP Certification is an added advantage
- 2-3 years of experience in HR operations in a fast paced environment
- Good knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and workplace compliance.
- Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem- solving skills, with high attention to confidentiality and detail.
