Branch Manager

The Branch Manager at Muthokinju Paints & Cement is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving branch success through strong sales, excellent customer service, and efficient retail operations. The manager is responsible for leading the team, ensuring high performance, and delivering an outstanding experience for all customers.

1. Drive branch performance to meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
2. Identify new sales opportunities and initiatives to grow the branch’s customer base and revenue.
3. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment, upholding high service standards and continuously improving customer service.
4. Oversee timely and accurate deliveries, resolve logistics issues, ensure complete documentation, track performance, and implement corrective actions.
5. Ensure the branch is clean and organized, manage daily reporting and documentation, and ensure compliance with administrative and operational procedures.
6. Lead performance management and development initiatives, fostering teamwork, accountability, and a high-performance culture within the branch.

1. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Retail Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
2. Additional short courses in Retail Operations, Inventory Management, Customer Service Excellence, or Leadership are preferred.
3. 3-5 years of progressive experience in retail operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
4. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
5. Hands-on experience in stock control, inventory accuracy, and shrinkage reduction.
6. Experience managing customer service standards, handling escalated complaints, and driving customer retention.
