Internship Description
The Communications Intern will play a crucial role in assisting KENAFF's communications department. This involves creating and distributing organizational content, as well as improving the federation's public presence across various media channels.
What You Will Do
- Assist in preparing and reviewing various communication materials such as press releases, articles, newsletters, and reports.
- Contribute to managing and creating content for KENAFF's social media channels and official website.
- Aid in documenting project activities using photography, video, and written narratives.
- Support the design of promotional and awareness materials, including posters, flyers, and banners.
- Maintain an organized archive of all communication materials and media assets.
- Provide general support to the Communications team on various departmental tasks.
Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Have basic proficiency in graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop (advantageous).
- Be familiar with social media management practices.
- Exhibit creativity, proactivity, and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Possess fundamental computer skills.
