Internship Description
The intern will provide crucial operational and project support to the Digital Development & Channels team, enhancing first-level support coverage. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in enterprise digital banking applications, system integrations, application testing, and IT operations. What You Will Do
- Provide initial support for digital banking applications and channels.
- Monitor digital applications and help identify application-related issues.
- Conduct initial investigation and troubleshooting for reported incidents.
- Review application logs and basic system information to pinpoint potential problems.
- Record, track, and follow up on incidents until resolution or escalation.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to relevant development, infrastructure, network, security, or vendor teams.
- Perform basic application health checks and service availability verifications.
- Support daily operational activities for digital channels.
- Assist in monitoring digital transactions and detecting unusual failures or service interruptions.
- Support the Digital Channels and Developments team in ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Assist with application testing, including functional, regression, and UAT activities.
- Prepare and execute basic test cases based on defined requirements.
- Document test results and report identified defects to the appropriate teams.
- Assist with API testing and validation using tools like Postman.
- Support project teams during implementation, deployment, and post-deployment validation.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, implementation checklists, and status updates.
- Participate in project meetings and follow up on assigned technical and operational actions.
- Assist with data validation and basic SQL queries when necessary.
- Help monitor application interfaces and integrations with internal and external systems.
- Support investigation of API, connectivity, and integration-related issues.
- Review application logs to identify common error patterns.
- Assist in validating application connectivity to dependent systems.
- Support routine checks of application services and integrations.
- Assist senior team members in troubleshooting production and UAT issues.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science from a reputable university.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Python and scripting for automation or data processing.
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases, including Oracle Database and MySQL.
- Ability to write SELECT, JOIN, INSERT, UPDATE, and basic analytical queries.
- Basic understanding of database tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, request/response structures, and API integration.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and basic web application development.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Angular.
- Basic understanding of Java application servers and web containers, such as Apache Tomcat and Oracle WebLogic Server.
- Basic understanding of application deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting in application server environments.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems and basic command-line operations.
- Basic understanding of application logs and ability to perform initial troubleshooting based on log messages.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, UAT, defect management, and deployment processes.
- Basic understanding of system integration, APIs, middleware, and communication between enterprise applications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate technical issues systematically.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business users.
- Willingness to learn enterprise technologies and gain practical experience in Digital Banking, Application Development, Integration, and Production Support.
- Ability to document technical findings, test results, issues, and troubleshooting steps clearly.
