Manager, Investments

Stanbic Bank Kenya is a financial institution founded in 1958, offering banking and financial services in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Manager, Investments will be responsible for overseeing an assigned portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth investment clients. This includes offering professional investment advice, guiding clients on portfolio construction, and managing client relationships to provide integrated financial solutions. The role aims to increase assets under management, achieve revenue targets, identify and develop new business opportunities, and ensure excellent client service while adhering to all approved risk, governance, and regulatory frameworks.

1. Manage an assigned portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth investment clients
2. Provide professional investment advice and guidance on portfolio construction
3. Manage client relationships and deliver integrated financial solutions
4. Grow assets under management and achieve revenue targets
5. Develop new business opportunities
6. Ensure exceptional client service
7. Operate within approved risk, governance, and regulatory frameworks

1. First Degree in Business Commerce, Finance, or a related field
2. 5-7 years of experience in a client-facing or support role within the affluent space, investment distribution, or asset management
3. Good understanding of operational and administrative processes, risk, and compliance standards
4. Preferred experience in an investment sales/advisory environment or operations
5. Experience in a client-facing environment focused on maintaining high standards of service and problem resolution
6. Understanding of investment products and services available to clients
