Learner – Cybersecurity

The Learner Cybersecurity position at NTT DATA focuses on collaborating closely with the TS Systems Integration team. The primary goal is to execute configurations, manage installations, and respond to less complex break/fix incidents. This role is designed to help the individual achieve associate-level certification while simultaneously building practical business knowledge in these technical areas.

1. Develop the ability to manage portions of installations, break/fix incidents, and problem resolution throughout project lifecycles.
2. Collaborate with the Implementation Engineering team to meet client requirements.
3. Execute configurations and installations.
4. Address break/fix events during project lifecycles.
5. Provide support and work alongside other team members.
6. Perform any other related tasks as required.

1. Basic understanding and appreciation of technical design principles.
2. Ability to develop an understanding of fundamental project and administration processes.
3. Displays a strong learning orientation.
4. Good verbal communication skills.
5. Demonstrate a client service orientation.
6. Hands-on proactive approach.
7. The ability to work overtime when required.
8. Knowledge on security concepts and application of those concepts.
9. Knowledge of cloud services on at least one of the following providers – AWS, Azure, GCP.
10. Understanding of Networking Fundamentals.
11. Understanding of Application Design concepts.
12. Understanding project fundamentals which are demonstrated in the execution of installations and other assignments.
13. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or a related field.
14. Network Security and other Cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage.
15. 6-12 months working experience will be an added advantage.
16. Entry level experience in Security technologies.
17. Entry Level experience in technical support to clients.
18. Entry Level experience in handling security incidents end to end.
19. Entry Level experience in configuring/managing security controls, such as Firewall, SIEM, NAC, IDS/IPS, EDR, NDR, UTM, Proxy, SOAR, Honeypots, and other security tools.
20. Track record of delivering on-time and on-target.
21. Track record of taking ownership in projects and incident handling.
